Chemical equipment refers to the downstream processing equipment used for refining ethylene, using process piping with carbon steel pipes and stainless steel pipes (seamless and welded): Commonly used carbon steel pipe materials include 20#(GB/T8163) and 20G (GB5310). 20g and 20# (GB9948) are rarely used. If used for Class A pipelines, 100% UT is required; commonly used stainless steel pipe grades are generally 304, 316L, 316Ti, etc.
In a purely theoretical sense, chemical equipment generally does not use CrMo steel and CrMoV steel grades. The entire equipment processing technology does not involve high-temperature, high-pressure, and hydrogenation conditions, focusing on the corrosion resistance of material transfer pipelines.
Special steel grades include Monel and Mo2Cu, etc.
