Product Details
Oil and gas pipelines are assembled by connecting individual pipes one by one. Modern oil and gas gathering and transportation pipelines are made of steel pipes welded together. Steel pipes come in various types, including seamless pipes, spiral-welded pipes, and straight-welded pipes. Seamless pipes are suitable for pipelines with a diameter of 529 mm or less, while spiral-welded and straight-welded pipes are suitable for large-diameter pipelines. The cross-sectional structure of gathering pipeline pipes can be complex, consisting of an inner coating - steel pipe - outer insulation layer - insulation (cold insulation) layer; simpler structures only include steel pipe and outer insulation layer, while the inner coating and insulation (cold insulation) layer are determined based on the oil and gas transportation process.
